We're buying a house!

Yep, you read right! We are in the process of buying our very first house, and I'm so excited!! The realtor called today to tell us the good news that our offer has gone through and now we've got to get an inspector and surveyor, and a home warranty, and home owner's insurance - or is that the same thing?, and about a billion other things that someone's gonna have to hold my hand through. Well, anyway, just wanted to share my excitement with you all before I start complaining about the stress of it - it's a 1950's fixer upper so I'm sure there will be much to complain about :)

Hello Emily,

I found your blog through Amy's blog at Humble Musings. I was just reading over your past posts and saw that your husband was the one that made the movie Shaky Town. I watched that movie several months ago (from Vision Forum's DVD) and thought it was wonderful. I hope a lot of people are able to see it.

God bless,

Amy

P.S. Your kids are so cute!

Hi, Amy!

Thanks for stopping by! That's so neat you saw Shaky Town! We too hope that lots of people see the movie, so that people might know what's really out there, and for other more selfish reasons of course ;) ! The release DVD is much better, since he had rushed the first one for the film festival. It also has the whole sound recording from the church attack which is always creepy to hear. He's making another movie now about feminism called "The Monstrous Regiment"- from a book by John Knox of similar name. I visited your blog too and liked it! Looks like you and I are neighbors, I'm in Waco. God bless! Hope to see ya around the web!

Emily

P.S. my sister's name is Amanda too!
