Hair Cuts

007
Tonight was hair cut night. Here is Noah getting a new "do" to go with his cammo look. It looks like I had him in a vise grip. I swear I did not hurt the boy.
015
I'm concentrating. "Don't cut the ears...don't cut the ears..."
011
Knox pre-cut but with red-fire candy from the firetruck birthday party we went to today. Sorry there's no after pic for him. I'm obviously an amateur blogger. Hmmm...no wonder I never have more than like five readers a day.
004
Somebody decided to give Patience a new "do" too.

Gracie has decided she wants an Ipod. Don't know where she even heard about Ipods as neither Colin nor I have Ipods. (Am I even spelling "Ipods" correctly?) Howerver, she is determined to earn the money to buy one, and yes we've discussed how much they actually cost. Tonight she earned one dollar by cutting Colin's hair. She did a great job but, clearly, Colin is not happy about paying for haircuts after I've been doing them for free all these years. Sorry there's no picture of the actual hair cutting. I was laying on the couch playing on Facebook. Again, maybe if I got up and took pictures you people would come back to my blog more than once a year. But I'm tired, people! I have six kids ya know, get off my back already will ya?!

Hi I've been reading your blog for a little while. I also cut my boys hairs (& hubbys). I've found the clippers good, but have trouble because their hair is so fine - any tips??!? Your family is gorgous. I can't even remember how I stumbled across your blog. Bet you have lots more readers than you know:)

haircuts=fun, fun, fun!
I cut 5 of the girls' hair on Saturday. One of the cuts evolved into dramatic tapering and layers, something I've never done before. I was terrified, but I had a brave and determined guinea pig with plenty of hair to spare, and I think it turned out pretty good. Today she wants even more layers.
=:O

Cute pictures! I could totally relate to the part where you're concentrating on not cutting their ears! I nicked one of mine once behind the ear and felt sooo bad! Now I too really concentrate on that...I've perfected the art of holding my breath while saying "be still" over and over again at the same time!

By the way, this is momto5littleboys from Momys...in case you were wondering! :)

So good to see you on Sunday. And I definitely read your blog more than once a year! and I even live in the same city ...and see you somewhat often. Can't get enough of the Gunns! The haircuts look great. If I could get the nerve to use the clippers I would. It would be so much faster, but I still love their hair a little longer and just can't cut it short.
