We use the phonics museum and the Saxon math right now. I like the integration of art into the curriculum because I grew up wiht zero exposure to it - public schools! My husband will do the Drawing with Children book with the kids since he's the artist in the family. We're doing our own Bible studies so far, but might get more involved with VP's in the next few years. I'm liking it so far, but it's just our first year, so only time will tell. What do you think? I'd love to know what other's experiences are!
I've heard of the training but I think it's in PA, which is too far away from this southern gal. I'd be interested to see how they teach the teachers though.
I am a homemaker and wife of Colin, a very hardworking reformed Scot, and maither o' many wee bairns - Gracie, Noah, Knox, Molly, Mercy, and Patience. I am living the life I always dreamed of. I'm learning how to find the true joy and beauty that comes from following the one true God and that is possible only by the sacrifice of our Saviour Jesus Christ. I am definitely a work in progress!
